Last night May 11,2012 C.J. aka Wild Dog President of Black Sabath MC passed away. Black Sabath has overcome all adversities for the past 40 years and this is an other one, loosing one of its leaders. We all as bikers here in San Diego have known him to be a gentile man with a big heart and an amazing love that was nothing short of unconditional for his family and friends. May this day be a blessed one; for the heavens have embraced a great man that left nothing but good memories behind for others to remember. On Behalf of Team Sprockets we send our condolences and love to Black Sabath MC and CJ’s Family!

Even though most of the time Bikers get a bad rep; once in a while we come across comments, perspectives and opinions that makes all the time, effort, sacrifice and dedication all worthwhile. This is one of those moments. Saturday May 6, 2012 Black Hawks MC had their Annual Picnic at Rohr Park in Bonita California witch is considered one of San Diego’s best areas to live. Weather we like it or not the public pays close attention. In this instance I am happy to hear the outcome. The Principal of Kimball School Elementary contacted Sprockets and left this message.

I jogged by your picnic celebration on May 5th in Rohr Park. I was impressed with the organization, the music and the focus on family and fun. But most importantly the bikes! I’m a principal of an elementary school and I am reaching out to parents of kinder age students with an invitation to attend our school in National City. We are starting a Dual Language 50/50 Spanish/English Program. I know you must have parents of kinder age children that would like to have their child learn another language, and I thought I would take a chance and reach out to your club. Our program is a Spanish English 50/50 Program. Thanks for the great music on Saturday. I hope to hear from someone.

This short message shows that we are not the image most depict of what a biker is. To the extent of inviting our children to participate in this neighborhoods program and take advantage of a great opportunity. I am proud to say I am a biker and those who I associate with are amazing responsible human beings, which love to ride and do not cause havoc and dismay.
